Lockers
If you attended a locking event in France and in Japan then you would probably see vastly different things in each country.
If you live in a particular area and have only seen locking from that area, you may see locking from other places and think that it looks a little strange because you're not used to it.
However this is also true of people who come from another country, they may see locking from where you are and think that it looks completely different from what they do.
However remember that The Lockers themselves looked different from one another, so this is not necessarily a bad thing.
There are different flavours of fruit juice, but they are all fruit juice and you can drink them. A similar situation is present in locking.
Lockers often get together for dance classes to practice and also events such as locking battles and competitions. At the bigger battles, lockers from around the world may visit to watch or take part.
These are fun not just for the battles themselves but to see how different lockers get down to the music. They also help generate interest in locking in general.
In different communities, a practice session may involve friends getting together to practice or friends that meet each other at a dance event or dance class deciding to practice together.
In some instances they may work well together and decide to perfrom together as a duo or as a group. Many lockers practice with each other before deciding to take part in any shows.
Perhaps this may be something that happens to you as well!
